New Colmic Stream and X5000 rig line moves the performance bar for Pole and Rig line even higher.
Linear and knot strength out perform anything else out there; However the most important development with Stream is its extreme softness. This has been achieved by a combination of high quality materials, a unique softening process and a fluorocarbon coating, which also reduces visibility to a minimum.
PRESENTATION IS THE KEY
Presentation is possibly the most critically important factor in the quest to increase bites and catch rates. Our goal with Stream and X5000 was to deliver ultimate presentation to the competition angler as well as maximum strength.
ULTRA HIGH STRENGTH
The highest quality Japanese were selected to give Stream and X5000 an incredibly high linear and knot strength which is of course essential for any successful rig line. Production is carried out in small carefully controlled batches to ensure accuracy of diameter and consistent quality control.
SUPER SOFT TECHNOLOGY
Colmics Stream and X5000 line incredible strength was a great start. However the goal was to also produce a line that presents the bait as naturally is.
Further softening was achieved by then adding a fluorocarbon coating to make Stream and X5000 some of the best presenting line on the market.
The fluorocarbon coating also has the effect of providing a waterproof coating to Stream and so it maintains 100% knot strength.

Im 32 years of age, live in Worcester and started my fishing when I was around 10 years of age. I was first introduced to fishing on the Birmingham Worcester canal, where I caught my first fish on rod and line, a roach being the very first fish to grace my palm. This has now started a lifelong obsession with the sport. Fishing is almost an addiction, once your hooked...your hooked for life! (excuse the pun)From the age of 14 I had started to match fish and managed to get myself fishing some junior matches here and there, which has since brought me a long way to fishing wherever I can, travelling all over the country in search of matches and good fishing! Ive met some of the best people fishing and joining www.matchfishing-scene.co.uk, the banter is great, the craic even better and as long as its fishing...well who cares! Tight lines all!
